Three After School Drinks using Kambrook Blitz2Go

Three After School Drinks using Kambrook Blitz2Go

Now that the kiddos are back to school we have all been able to get ourselves into a routine. Breakfast gets eaten, lunch boxes get packed, dinner is thought about, but what up the time between school pick up and dinner. You know that time where they want to eat everything in the fridge but then not eat dinner!

I have put together three drinks to keep them happy until dinner time. Serve them with a homemade snack and you will have happy little tummies (and your fridge supplies stay in tack for another day).

I am using the Kambrook Blitz2Go to make these drinks quick and easily. While I have poured them into a glass for the purpose of taking a photo, the drinks are made in the same bottle that you drink out of saving on time and washing up.

Simply replace the blade end with a lid and your good to go. Make them before you pick the children and up and take them with you (with piece of mind they won’t spill) or place them in the fridge until you get home. Too easy!

Working in animal rescue during the very hot Melbourne summers, I need to ensure I am energized and healthy and able to rescue wildlife no matter how hot the day becomes. Abundant with health benefits, it not only tastes great, but provides me with the required energy I need!
My first creation with the Kambrook Blitz2Go would be the Summer Energy Green Smoothie; with 1 ½ cups Filtered Water, 1 cup spinach, ½ cup cucumber, 2 celery stalks, 1 small bunch parsley, 2 apples (cored), ½ inch ginger, Juice 1 lime, 1 ½ cups Ice; placing all the ingredients in order in the blender and blending until smooth.
This smoothie is packed with tons of nutrition powerhouses. Besides providing good levels of vitamins A and K, Parsley also has several unusual, helpful components: volatile oils which can inhibit tumor formation, especially in the lungs; and flavonoids, which prevent cell damage associated with various diseases, including asthma, atherosclerosis, cancer, diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, and macular degeneration. Made with filtered water, whole vegetables and fruit, and ingredients which are safe for those who are lactose intolerant, this smoothie is a healthier and more nutritious alternative to pressed or squeezed juices, and will provide your body with the required energy to keep you going all Summer long! 🙂

We go bananas for banana oat berry here! My teen daughter had been skipping breakfast until we got a Blitz 2 Go. Now she has this most mornings:

    1/2 a banana
a good ‘dollop’ of strawberry yoghurt
    a handful of mixed berries
a handful of oats and BLITZ!

Tasty, filling and nutritious, and my teen son and 3 year old son also love it!

I’ve been trying to convince Mum to get a Blitz2Go and would LOVE to win one for her!

We’re crazy for smoothies in our house – the kids usually have one after school but the blender broke the other day after 10 years of hard labour! Lol. A Blitz2Go looks like an awesome replacement option!

Our fave flavour is banana, mango and berries, whizzed up with some juice, milk and a little yoghurt or ice cream. I’ve recently also tried adding a dash of Verjuice (or lemon juice) to add a little zing and it tastes delicious!
