One thing I love doing during the warmer months is making my own ice creams for the kids. I love experimenting with different fruits, yoghurt, creams etc. The latest creation I have made is Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Creams. They are perfect for cooling down and getting the kids to have a treat that is not so bad for them.
INGREDIENTS
250gm Strawberries, washed and stalks removed
1/2 Cup Natural Yoghurt
1/4 Cup Fresh Thickened Cream
3 Tbs Condensed Milk
LETS PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
1. Using a blender, food processor or personal blender place the strawberries (leave 2 behind to be sliced) and following ingredients. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour into ice cream/block moulds.
3. Before putting the top on, slide in a slice of strawberry on the side in each mould. Place the lid on and place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours.

Yum!! These came out perfectly and were delicious – thanks for making me look good 🙂
