A Christmas can’t pass without rum balls being made and most importantly consumed. They one of my all times favourites. I like to make some adult only ones and then ones that the kids can eat so no one misses out.
Here is my version with three different options for what you can roll them in. Coconut, sprinkles and crushed candy canes.
INGREDIENTS
250gm Milk Arrowroot Biscuits
385gm Can Condensed Milk
1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
1/4 Cup Cocoa
2 Tbs Rum or Rum Essence or omit
Coating: coconut, sprinkles, crushed candy canes
- Simply place all the ingredients (except the coating) into a food processor and process until combined.
- Roll into balls and then roll into chosen coating.
- Allow to chill in the fridge on a tray for a minimum of 1 hour before transferring to an airtight container.
Makes about 20
