Real fruit ice blocks are so easy to make and are perfect for using up that fruit that still tastes good but may of lost its visual appeal so it’s just sitting in the fridge waiting to be tossed in the compost.
Grab that fruit, a blender and get making some yummy real fruit ice block creations.
INGREDIENTS
Fruit that is peeled, deseeded and chopped – I used watermelon and blueberries. Other fruits that will work well are, stone fruits, mangoes, pineapple, kiwi fruit, strawberries, raspberries etc.
LETS PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
1. Simply place the fruit in a blender and blend until smooth. Some fruit may require a little water to get them to a pouring stage.
2. Pour into moulds. You can do layers like I have if you have a little more time.
3. Place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours.
