Is rolled oats the same as porridge oats? X

As you can see in the photo, rolled oats are the larger sized oats. Normally you would use quick oats for porridge which are a smaller cut oat. Hope that helps.

Is there anything you can substitute the peanut butter for? Our school is nut free.

No sorry, this one relies on the peanut butter to set it.

Are there any other ingredients you can recommend to add some variety? If so, in what quantity would you suggest?

    • Amanda February 6, 2017 at 12:32 pm #

Hi Des, you can add choc chips, seeds or nuts. Just simply press into the top. Quantity – about 1/2 cup.

I used rice malt syrup instead of honey.
    Worked well! Easy!
