Here is this weeks meal plan to help give you some inspiration for the week ahead. My weeks start on a Friday as that is when I do my food shopping. This week I have stuck to mainly beef mince and chicken breast to save money, no one complains when these two meats are served and it keeps things simple for me.
MONDAY – Hidden Vegetable Spaghetti Bolognese
TUESDAY – Taco Tuesday
WEDNESDAY – Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry with Noodles – new recipe
THURSDAY – Leftovers
FRIDAY – Grilled Chicken Burgers – Simply slice a chicken breast in half length ways to form to chicken “patties” season with salt and pepper and add a little olive oil. Grill on the BBQ until cooked. Serve in a roll with salad and a side of chips.
SATURDAY – Fish, Chips and Salad – homemade
SUNDAY – Roast Chicken with Rice, vegetables and satay sauce. I used the satay sauce from the linked recipe. Simply place all ingredients into a small sauce pan on the stove and allow to simmer until it thickens. You can double to quantity to make more.
