You don’t need to wait until you have a birthday to throw a movie-themed party. Movie-themed parties are the perfect excuse to have friends over and enjoy a laugh with a good movie and yummy food.
In fact, Winter is the perfect time to lounge out in front of a DVD with your family and friends.
Movie Themed Party Food Ideas
Movie Snacks
It’s easy to make all your movie favourites at home.
Popcorn – pop your own in a large saucepan with a little butter on the stove.
Choc Tops – simply scoop ice cream into cones and top with Ice Magic. These can be made in advance wrapped in plastic bags and frozen.
Candy Bar – arrange an assortment of your favourites on a table and provide little bags for guests to make their own lolly bags.
After the Movie Food
Whether you are serving lunch or dinner these dishes are sure to keep your guests in the movie spirit. These are made easy with the use of Mission.

Home was such a brilliant movie about learning about other people. My little man is 3 and currently learning about everything. A Home party would help us celebrate turning 4 in style!
