This week Matt Golinski and I show you how to cook the most ridiculously easy and flavoursome pasta meal – D’Orsogna Triple Smoked Ham, Mushroom and Cheese Fettuccine, it will keep hungry mouths of all ages happy.
I can imagine myself making this on a raining cold day after being at work or out all day. The D’Orsogna Triple Smoked Ham flavour is evident from the moment you start to slice in up and gets even better when it is heated. You can have this meal cooked and on the table in 15 minutes.
It’s delicious, easy and fast…what more could you want? How about Matt and I showing you exactly how to make it.
Check out Matt and I cooking the Fettuccine here:
INGREDIENTS
300gm Fettuccine, uncooked
1 Clove Garlic, sliced
100gm Button Mushrooms, sliced
20gm Butter 200gm
D’Orsogna Triple Smoked Ham, diced
1 Tsp Fresh Thyme
300ml Thickened Cream
80gm Grated Cheddar or Parmesan Cheese
Salt and Pepper
LETS PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water for 12 minutes. Drain and toss with a dash of olive oil to stop it sticking together.
2. While the pasta is cooking, saute the garlic, mushrooms and thyme in butter until the mushrooms are cooked.
3. Add the ham, cream and cheese and bring to the boil.
4. Season with salt and pepper and add the fettuccine to heat through.
Serves 4-6
Perfect for leftovers the next day.
For a lighter version try replacing full cream milk with light cream.

I love carbonara and so do our 3 girls. They love sucking up the wiggly worms ! So great to see Matt doing what he loves again. 🙂
Chicken breast Fettucini with pumpkin sauce, mushrooms, garlic, chicken breast, shallots, cream, pumpkin puree sauce, salt, flavour combination is delicious:)
I like almost any pasta that is creamy and has garlic.
I love any pasta dish using mushrooms and ham, so yummy
I love trying new recipes & make many different pasta sauces but recently tried a new one which was very popular with my family – it included chicken, spinach, leek, mushrooms, white wine, cream & mustard. I have previously made a similar recipe with pesto sauce instead of wine & mustard which is also yummy. I used this sauce with gnocchi but there was enough left for another meal with penne pasta.
Our favorite Pasta dish would have to be Spaghetti Bolognese! Cant go past the old favorites! Would love to try this though, and getting a gift card to help with groceries would be heavenly! 😀 Thanks for the opportunity!
We love bacon, garlic, pinenut, mushroom, spinach and cheese fettuccine
I have a family of boys and as most mums know boys love red meat. So their favourite pasta combination would be anything with mince. Thankfully this can be a cost effective meat and extremely versatile. Here are a few of their favourites – good old spaghetti bolognese, meatballs with fettuccine and lasagne. There are also a couple of tricks to make sure they get their serving of vegetables. For the spaghetti – grate some carrot and cook through the meat sauce, for meatballs – grate some zucchini and mix in the meatballs and cook and they don’t even know what they are eating. And lastly for the lasagne with spinach – a great easy white sauce is some frozen spinach, low fat ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese. It takes 5 minutes to make and my boys now complain if they eat someone else’s lasagne and it doesn’t have the green stuff in it.
Spaghetti Bolognese comes up the winner in my home from when the kids were little and now they are older. It’s a great flexible dish to use up whatever vegetables I have on hand. The older ones love a little chilli for a tasty bite.
We love spaghetti with beef mince, onion and mushroom in tomato sauce, simply but tasty.
My kids love pasta and ham 🙂
As a family we absolutely love the one featured in this blog! D’Orsogna Triple Smoked Ham, Mushroom and Cheese Fettuccine. It’s a quick and easy recipes for after work and we love that we can mix it up by adding other ingredients such as eggplant, zucchini and sometimes even chicken
I like to keep it simple
Shallots, cream and bacon sometimes I add mushrooms
Our favourite is homemade tomato sauce, topped with fresh grated parmesan.
Lasagne is our family favourite. We mix it up by using different meats. Sometimes we’ll use chicken mince, or a ham and vegetable lasagne. Pasta is just so versatile!
At the moment, we love a spiral pasta bake with shredded chicken breast, fresh spinach leaves, sundried tomatoes, chorizo, cream and parmesan cheese, with a bit of mozzarella on top.
We love anything creamy or my girls devour a simple lasagne!
