So Easter is this month, three months after Christmas and I just get my head into Easter mode just yet. We have Easter hats to make for the boys Easter parade and I have the important task of stocking up on eggs for the Easter bunny.
My all time favourite egg is the Creme Egg, I love scooping the inside out of the larger version and then eating the chocolate outside. I try and resist buying them earlier than Easter so I don’t over indulge.
I have however found that they taste amazing in a milkshake. This is a major sweet treat that is fun to make and drink.
All you need is:
INGREDIENTS
3 Mini Creme Eggs
1 Cup Milk
2 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
Chocolate Topping
LET’S PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
1. Place the milk, 1 scoop of ice cream and the mini creme eggs into a blender. I am using the Kambrook BlitzPro. Blitz for about 10 seconds.
2. Take the chocolate topping and squeeze the desired amount into a glass and roll it around to cover the sides of the glass. Pour in the milkshake and add the extra scoop of ice cream on top followed by a mini creme egg cut in half.
Enjoy.
Makes 1 large milkshake.
