This is an impressive way of serving up what is normally a rather ho hum dip.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 Block Light Cream Cheese
2 Gherkins, chopped finely
1 Tbs Onion Flakes – found in the dry herb section of your supermarket
Finely chopped parsley and garlic chives
LET’S PUT IT ALTOGETHER
1. Place the cream cheese, gherkins and onion flakes into a bowl and mix with a spoon to combine well.
2. Turn out onto a sheet of cling wrap and roll enclosed in the cling wrap to form a roll.
3. Place in the fridge to chill. It will only need 20 minutes or you can prepare the night before and leave over night. The flavours will enhance if left longer.
4. Unwrap and place on a bed of chopped fresh herbs. Roll lightly until the roll is covered.
5. Serve with a cheese knife and crackers.
Can you add pecans on this to?
You sure can. You can easily add other ingredients to the cream cheese and mix in.
